computer engineering @ mississippi state. custom pcbs, embedded firmware, full-stack apps, and cli tooling. i build things end-to-end.
about
computer engineering student at Mississippi State University (cgpa 3.88 / 4.00). i build things at the intersection of hardware and software: pcb layout, embedded firmware, full-stack apps, and cli tools.
i've worked on wearable biosensors, wireless protocols (ble, can, uart, i²c), and ml pipelines for research. i ship end-to-end: schematic → layout → fab → firmware → software.
things i've built
Smart Cane
obstacle detection + weather alerts on esp32. rewrote a single-loop design into freertos tasks (sensor acquisition, processing, alert handling) with queues. fixed blocking instability and made the system actually reliable under load.

Wristwatch Biosensor
wearable hub logging hr, spo2, temp, and imu data over ble. live pyqt dashboard on the pc side. custom pcb + enclosure.
view project →CoreTymp
ear-worn vitals monitor on a custom pcb. circuitpython firmware + ble/usb-c stack, plus a full pyqt6 desktop app with simultaneous multi-device ble, ota firmware updates, per-device config, and usb-c dock auto-sync.
details →OBD-II CAN Logger WIP
bare-metal stm32 project. reads my toyota's engine data over can bus, shows live metrics the dash doesn't have, logs to sd. wrote the can, spi, and i2c drivers myself off the reference manual.
view project →SplitIt
bill-splitting app. scan a receipt, assign items per person, real-time sync. full-stack with supabase + next.js.
case study →
musicdl-cli
cli tool for downloading spotify playlists as mp3s. parallel jobs, ffmpeg transcoding, id3 metadata tagging.
npm →
LinkScreen
chrome extension that filters linkedin jobs by visa sponsorship, posting date, and keywords. one click, clean feed.
case study →work experience
